John Sinclair is a bona-fide legend. He really is the Grand Old Man Of The Counter-Culture as which I occasionally represent myself. Best-known as the former manager of the fabled MC5 and founder of the White Panther Party, he’s now returned to his roots as a writer and poet, performing with blues and jazz musicians. This comes from a London show in summer 2009 when he talked the blues while Buffalo Bill Smith and I played ’em.
This is ‘The Crossroads’, John’s poem about Tommy Johnson … NOT Robert!
